If a Flower Doesn’t Bloom, Do You Blame the Flower?
Hello beautiful soul,
Today, I want to talk about something that might just change the way you see yourself and your journey. Have you ever looked at a flower that didn’t bloom and thought, “Wow, what a failure of a flower”? Or maybe you’ve walked by a garden and noticed some flowers are thriving while others are struggling, and you wondered what went wrong for those poor little blooms?
The truth is, we don’t blame the flower. We look at the soil, the sunlight, the water. We consider the environment it's growing in. Flowers, just like us, need the right conditions to thrive. But how often do we stop to consider the “soil” in our own lives?
Today, we're talking about Personal Growth.

Tending to Your Own Garden
Let’s be honest – life can feel overwhelming. So many of us are pushing ourselves every day, expecting to bloom even when our inner “soil” is dry, or our “sunlight” is blocked by the shadows of our own self-doubt. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Think about your own life and the conditions you’re growing in. Are you surrounded by positive energy and encouragement? Or are there people or habits around you that drain you, leaving you feeling “less than”? We don’t need to blame ourselves for struggling. Often, it’s not about being a “better flower” – it’s about creating a better environment where we can thrive.
Changing Your Environment
Real life brings all sorts of challenges. Maybe you’re working in a job that doesn’t fulfil you, or in a relationship where you don’t feel seen. You may be thinking, “But what can I do? Life is just... like this.” I’ve been there. It’s easy to get stuck in the weeds.
But when you start making even small changes – saying “no” to the things that don’t serve you, choosing to spend time with people who lift you up, giving yourself permission to rest – you’ll start noticing something amazing. You’ll feel lighter. Freer. You’ll start seeing the signs of your own potential, like tiny buds ready to open.

Letting Go of Perfection
One of the hardest things in life is letting go of the idea that we need to be perfect, blooming all the time, for everyone else. You don’t see flowers out in nature comparing themselves, right? They’re just there, blooming in their own time, in their own way. You deserve the same acceptance. You’re allowed to be a work in progress. You’re allowed to take time to create the right environment for yourself.
Your Journey to Bloom
If you’re feeling stuck, or like you’re not growing the way you want to, know that you’re not alone. Sometimes we just need a little help to shift our environment and nurture our “garden” in ways we might not know how to on our own.
If you’re ready to start this journey – to create a life that nurtures you, allows you to grow, and helps you feel seen, let’s connect. Together, we can work on creating a life where you feel empowered to blossom.
Let’s find your sunlight and give you the space to grow.
Love Luisa x
